History

Through our experience over the years, Daurex has become an expert in manufacturing progressive cavity pumps and replacement parts. Our history dates back to the establishment of our turnery Daunheimer in Kirchhellen, Germany in the year 1972.

The main focus of our firm was to produce piece work spare parts for eccentric screw pumps. We accomplished this by utilizing highly skilled metal working practices.

Very early in our development we specialized in the manufacturing of highly precise solid stators and rotors for eccentric screw pumps in all dimensions and material qualities. As our firm increased in size and sales, we renamed our company Daurex Pumpen GmbH in 1978. This same year we also moved to a much larger facility in Gladbeck, Germany. As our reputation and client base grew, we decided to manufacture our own brand of complete pump assemblies. In 1979 we designed our "EB" and "EDS" range of pumps.

Due to our growth and need to expand our capacity, we moved yet again to a larger facility in Schermbeck, Germany in 1982. In 1995 we increased our manufacturing capabilities and in 1997 we added a 16,000 sq ft warehouse facility to store our finished goods. This additional storage allows us to anticipate our client’s orders and store our products for just in time delivery (J.I.T.).

Our distributors and sales have grown worldwide over the years. We have a number of trading partners in Europe and the US, this enables Daurex USA to make short-term deliveries to any country.
